Hillsboro police

May 18: Officers destroyed a skunk and took a dog complaint.

May 19: Officers took a trespass complaint and arrested Dana Riling, 55, Hillsboro, on an outstanding warrant.

May 20: Police took a dog complaint, a traffic complaint, and coordinated a training event with Hillsboro High School staff. Officers also took a report of a person operating an unlawful vehicle in Willow Glen, checked a hitchhiker, and took a report of a domestic disturbance.

May 21: Officers attended safety training at city hall, took a civil complaint, and responded to a non-injury accident in Hillsboro Heights in which no report was taken. Police also took a report of a person yelling in Hillsboro Heights. Under further investigation, officers located an intoxicated person who was talking loudly.

Thursday: Police responded to a non-injury accident in Hillsboro Heights, attended drug investigation training, and addressed a commercial alarm in the 800 block of East D St.

Friday: Officers provided funeral escort, attended armor training, and drug investigation training. Police also took a report of two suspicious packages and a report of a suspicious vehicle in Hillsboro Heights.

Saturday: Police took a report of suspicious activity, assisted with the Class Reunion Run, and arrested James Wullenweber on suspicion of probation violation.

PEABODY POLICE

May 19: Police opened an investigation into aggravated burglary and theft at a residence.

May 20: Police performed a military records check. Officers investigated a sewer complaint for the city of Peabody. A complaint of reckless driving was filed. A report was taken of burglary of a residence.

May 21: An individual was cited for smoking in a designated non-smoking area.

Thursday: Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff’s Department at the scene of an accident. James Findley, Peabody, was arrested and charged with failure to appear in municipal court. A report of a prowler at a residence was taken.

Friday: Police worked a non-injury accident on private property. An information report was filed stemming from a traffic stop for questionable driving abilities.

Sunday: Police worked a non-injury accident in the 100 block of N. Walnut St. A report of criminal damage to property was taken. Jarred Feldman, Peabody, was arrested and charged with public consumption of liquor, pedestrian under the influence of alcohol, and interference with a law enforcement officer.
