Hillsboro

Aug. 13 — Officers found a small child and a dog at 2nd and Main Sts. and returned them to their residence; took a report of a missing dog; and presented active shooter training for Marion school district.

Aug. 14 — Officers shot a sick raccoon in the park; dispersed a large group of kids in the street in the 400 block of E. 1st St., and presented active shooter training for Goessel school district.

Aug. 15 — Officers investigated a report of a dog at large; investigated an abandoned trailer at Country Haven Inn; and investigated a report of youth killing turtles at the park.

Aug. 16 — Officers presented active shooter training for Centre school district and responded to an alarm at United Suppliers.

Aug. 17 — Officers investigated a noise complaint at Tabor College; set up a trap for a resident with skunk issues; assisted a motorist with a blown tire; and dispersed kids gathering in the 400 block of E. 1st St.

Aug. 19 — Officers investigated a parking complaint in the Tabor College area; shot a sick raccoon in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St., and assisted sheriff’s deputies with investigation of theft of road rock.

Marion

Aug. 18 — Officers investigated assault and battery in the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St. and assault and disorderly conduct, also in the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St.

Peabody

Aug. 16 — Officers investigated three inoperable vehicles and will send a complaint to the city prosecutor; and investigated a juvenile battery case.

Aug. 17 — Officers arrested James Findley on Marion County warrant

Aug. 18 — Officers investigated a domestic incident and a juvenile battery incident.
