Hillsboro

Sept. 13 — A possible fire was reported in the 200 block of S. Birch St. A dispute between a landlord and tenant was investigated in the 300 block of N. Main St. A suspicious vehicle and a dog complaint were also investigated.

Sept. 14 — A motorcycle rider was pursued, taken into custody, and transported to a juvenile intake in Junction City. A complaint against a tow truck service was investigated in the 200 block of S. Adams St.

Sept. 15 — A person discovered climbing a tower in Industrial Park was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital for an evaluation. Reports of a basketball goal blocking the street, an out-of-control juvenile, and several scam phone calls were investigated.

Sept. 16 — Motorists’ seatbelts were checked near the Hillsboro Elementary School. A missing juvenile was located.

Thursday — A 911 disconnect occurred in the 700 block of W. Grand St.

Friday — A suspect was identified and arrested after a vehicle was reported stolen in the 200 block of S. Birch St. There was a curfew violation in Memorial Park.

Saturday — A non-injury accident occurred in the 100 block of S. Main St., a report of a reckless driver on US-56 was investigated, and several parking complaints were taken.

Sept. 9 — Police responded to a verbal domestic disturbance in the 700 block of N. Elm St. No arrest was made.

Sept. 13 — A report of criminal trespass was made in the 400 block of N. Locust St.

Sept. 15 — Ruben Parga-Quintanar and Jose Avila-Vargas were arrested and charged with open container of alcohol violations. Police worked a non-injury accident at Nighthawk Rd. and US-50.

Thursday —A report of a dog at large was turned over to animal control for investigation. Barrtlett Kellum was arrested and charged with driving with an expired tag and illegal tag.

Saturday — Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff’s Department with a driving under the influence investigation near mile marker 295 on US-50.

Sunday — Heyner X. Franco was arrested and charged with driving without a driver’s license. Cornelius A. Ethridge was arrested and charged with driving while license is suspended. Connor T. McDonough was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended.
