Thanksgiving guests of the Leonard Hein family the evening of Nov. 30 were Kevin and Vicki Hein and John of Durham; Todd and Jayleen Hein, and Andrew Hein, Sarah, and family of Tampa; Tony and Brandi Hein, Henry, Grace, and Oliver of Hillsboro; and Monica Hein and Van of Kansas City.
Norman and Dot Ensz attended funeral services Nov. 30 for Nancy Ens. Nancy was the mother-in-law of Norman and Dot’s daughter Joni.
Willis and Eleanor Herbel, Marcella Mohn, Arlene Pankratz, Fred and Doris David, Richard and Kathy Dirks, and DeLayne and Chris Herbel, all of Hillsboro, attended the Christmas celebration at Tampa the evening of Dec 2. A meal was served and the Cottonwood River Band presented the program. The band consists of Richard Dirks, Tim Diener, DeLayne Herbel, and Vince and Julie Jantz.
