A boil water advisory for the Rural Water District No. 1 public in northwest Marion County has been rescinded.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued the advisory Sept. 24 because of a loss of pressure, which can result in bacterial contamination.
Laboratory testing on samples collected from the RWD No. 1 indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination have been resolved, according to KDHE.
