Larry and Eileen Schmidt of Clarksdale, Mississippi, welcomed a new son, Kasey Wayne, Sept. 21. He was born at 8:45 a.m. weighing 8 pounds and 2 ounces. Roy and Nadine Davis are the local grandparents.
The senior members of Morning Star Church met at the school for supper and fellowship.
Dinner guests at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe on Sunday included Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Larry and Wanda Koehn, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, and Jerry and Carol Giesbrecht of Burns.
Josh and Katelin Hendricks and Jaden spent Saturday and Sunday with Mark and Barb Unruh. They saw Ron and Dora Unruh Sunday evening before returning home.
