Cottonwood Grove School students recently hosted an evening of entertainment called “The Ice Cream Parlor.” The event was a fundraiser at which they served patrons a choice of sundaes, floats, banana splits, or ice cream cones.

Doyle and Kara Wiebe entertained guests with a dinner Sunday at their home. Guests were Mark and Kris Wiebe and Luke, Lela Wedel, Calla Wengar, Kayla Wiebe, Rebecca Peachy, Katie Schmidt, and Gary and Crystal Davis and Carly.

Ron and Dora Unruh hosted a belated Easter dinner Sunday. The afternoon was spent with the traditional egg hunt. Guests were Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert, Mark and Barb Unruh, Warren and Anita Unruh, Kyle and Jenna, David and Ashley Enns and family, Josh and Katelin Hendricks of Wamego, Matt Hiebert of K-State, Sarah Unruh and her roommate Andrea Kelly of Hesston.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe invited family over to celebrate the recent birthdays of Travis Koehn and Loretta Wiebe with a birthday supper April 8. Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Wayne and Lora Lee Wiebe and family, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Loretta Wiebe attended the celebration.

Merlin and Karletta Wiebe spent the weekend visiting Justin and Rebecca Wiebe in Bloomfield, Iowa.

The Dayton Unruh family had a potluck dinner Sunday to celebrate Quinton Unruh’s 60th birthday. The Larry Koehn families, Quinton Unruh families, Warren Unruh families, and Starla Harms and Myron and Tina Koehn of Montezuma all attended.

Gerald and Pam Unruh of Salina, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, and Calla Wengar had supper at the home of Calvin Wiebe on Saturday.

Stuart and Lea Isaac and Jason and Sherri Wiebe and family gathered at the home of Mark and Kris Wiebe for fellowship and refreshments Sunday evening after church.

Kendall and Susie Wiebe, Aaron and Janessa Herbel, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Sandy Wiebe, and Teresa Wiebe were Monday supper guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe.
