NORTHWEST OF DURHAM:   Suppers raise money for school and missions

Several people have held ticket suppers as fundraisers for Cottonwood Grove School.

Harry and Sheryle Rhodes held one. Their guests were Roy and Nadine Davis, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Louise Ratzlaff and Rayletta, and Calla Wengar.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe held a fundraiser supper Oct. 31. Guests were Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Larry and Wanda Koehn, Dale and Kathy Jantz, Quinton and Dianne Unruh, and Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family.

The Morning Star youth group hosted a soup supper Oct. 30, serving a large crowd. The proceeds will go to mission work.

Anthony and Beth Wiebe and family, Kendall and Susie Wiebe and family, Aaron and Janessa Herbel, and Lela Wedel were dinner guests Nov. 2 at the home of Merlin and Karletta Wiebe. They celebrated Tylan Wiebe’s sixth birthday.

Supper guests Nov. 2 at the home of Marcel and Wendy Unruh were Roy and Nadine Davis, Tim and Shelia Koehn and family, and Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor.

Travis and Connie Becker of Halstead held a birthday supper for their son Gage on Oct. 28, who was turning four. Guests were Wendell and Linda Wedel, the Dean Beckers, the Marlin Becker family, and teachers from the local school.

Lola Redger and Jaraine Redger and a group from Durham attended the annual supper and bazaar Oct. 29 at the Roxbury church.
