Many Tampa residents attended Centre High School’s commencement May 18. Tampa-area graduates included Justin Deines, Timothy Stuchlik, Houston Svoboda, and Anna Weber. Anna, Justin, and Timothy all received scholastic achievement awards.
A large crowd attended the graduation reception for Anna Weber on May 19 at the senior center.
Lucille Kerbs went to Abilene on May 22 and accompanied her daughter, Connie Thompson, to Salina for an appointment, dinner, and shopping.
Leona Kleiber spent May 17 through 19 with Dean and Becky Routh, Melody, Allison, and Danielle of Augusta. On May 18, Dean, Becky, Allison, Melody, and Leona, Aaron and Jennifer Routh, Easton, and Payton of Andover, and Carl and Kathy Hubbard of Wellington attended the Classical School of Wichita’s commencement at Heartland Community Church. Danielle was the valedictorian of the graduating class. Following commencement, all attended the reception for graduates, families, and friends in the fellowship hall. Dean, Becky, and family were hosts for a reception in Danielle’s honor at Generations Church in Andover. On May 19, the Rouths and Leona had dinner at a Wichita restaurant.
Deb Hall and Kaylee of Herington, Darla Hall and Adam of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Tom and Dee Duggan attended a graduation party honoring Audrey Frick on May 18 at the home of her parents, John and Pam Frick of Kansas City. Upon their return to Tampa, Tom and Dee visited Houston Svoboda’s graduation reception.
Dinner guests of Paul and Edna Backhus on May 19 were Bev and Tom Reid of Marion, Mike and Jennifer Jay and Cody of Hillsboro, Brad Backhus, Jason Backhus, and Alisha Barney. In the afternoon, Paul and Edna attended Centre’s commencement and Anna Weber’s graduation reception.
Lucille Kerbs took her grandson, Rustyn Kerbs, to dinner May 21 in Durham in celebration of his birthday.
Adeline Bernhardt and Tom and Dee Duggan were among those attending the reception for Anna Weber on May 19.
Deb Hall and Kaylee of Herington, Darla Hall and Adam of Lee’s Summit, and Dee Duggan went to the Kansas University Medical Center on May 17 because of Tom Duggan’s surgery.
Anna Mae Stika accompanied Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu to Centre’s commencement May 19 to see her granddaughter, Anna Weber, receive her diploma.
Lucille Kerbs accompanied Tim and Marchelle Kerbs of Salina to Manhattan on May 19 to attend a reception of Mark and April Reidy, Josh, and Gracie in honor of Cierra Reidy’s graduation from Manhattan High School.
Dee Duggan and Ramona Beisel attended a card party May 16 at the home of Rose Mary Deines.
Lucille Kerbs visited Connie Thompson on May 18 in Abilene and joined Allison Sluder and Brooklyn for dinner.
