The Trojans competed at a Central Kansas League cross-country meet Thursday at Halstead.

Coach Robert Haude said runners represented Hillsboro with pride and toughness.

“The CKL meet was the culmination of a great season,” Haude said. “Our runners ran at a high level and for most the them it was the best they ran all year.
