Herb and Trudy Pankratz of Abilene were guests Sept. 21 of Arlene Pankratz. They came to Hillsboro to attend the Arts and Crafts Fair.

Little Jack Owen Nichol is visiting his grandparents, Tim and Donna Diener, while his parents, Kent and Emily Nichol, are on a tour with Kent’s parents in Ireland.
Funeral services for Richard Pankratz of Topeka were Sept. 25 in Topeka. Richard grew up in the Hillsboro area. His wife, Phyllis, and daughter, Kristi, and other family and friends survive him.
The Willis Penners enjoyed getting acquainted with their young twin great-grandchildren, Eli and Eva Peppke, from Wisconsin.
