The Clayton Wiebe family gathered at their home Saturday to celebrated October birthdays of Bev Wiebe, Shay Lynn Koehn, Caleb Wiebe and Sharon Koehn. Those who attended were the Travis Koehn family, Nelson Wiebe family, Calvin Wiebe family, Wayne Wiebe family, and Loretta Wiebe.

Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah went to Manhattan Sunday to attend church with Josh and Katelin Hendricks and Jayden. Josh and Katelin and Jayden participated in the child dedication service.

Many from the Morning Star Church attended a Sunday evening wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Chad Ensz at the Alexanderfeld Church near Hillsboro. The couple got married earlier this month at Muleshoe, Texas.

School board members and teachers from the Cottonwood Grove School went to Arkansas this past week to attend meetings. Board members who went were Greg and Charlene Wedel, Marcel and Wendy Unruh, and Travis and Sharon Koehn.

Larry and Wanda Koehn went to Haviland on Sunday for dinner at the Howard and Iris Eck home. Others who attended were the Kelly Warkentine family from Hydro, Oklahoma, and Shannon Eck family from Greensburg.

Those who attended a picnic Sunday at the Hillsboro Park were Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Calla Wengar, Terry and Robyn Schultz and family, Tim Davis, Stuart and Lea Isaac, Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, and Ruth Boehs.

Roy and Nadine Davis spent the weekend in Iowa visiting Hiram and Rhonda Wedel and Brayden.
