Eldon and LaVonne Wiens of rural Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with their children and families Dec. 22 at the Brookville Hotel.

They were married on Nov. 30, 1952, at Ebenfield Mennonite Brethren Church. Eldon and LaVonne are actively involved in the farming operation.

Their children are Brad and Jane Wiens of rural Hillsboro, Diane and Garvie Schmidt of Hillsboro, Kim and Amy Wiens of Midlothian, Texas, and Cheryl and DJ Kaufman of Hutchinson. They have 12 grandchildren.
