Wind energy

To the editor:

Embrace the windmills and paint them to look like large sunflowers. They are here to stay, and others are soon to follow.

Folks from all over the country, even perhaps the world, will be amused by their splendor and will spend money as they visit our towns and painted rhinos.

Who knows? Maybe have a festival someday honoring them for the reduced electrical charges that they have brought to the community. Windmills on The Plains? Tampa Turbine Days?
