Lloyd Funk

Services for Lloyd Funk, 89, rural Hillsboro, who died last Friday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, will be 11 a.m. this Friday at First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro.

Pastor Norma Duerksen will officiate. Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro. Relatives will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born Oct. 25, 1935, in Hillsboro to John and Eva (Pankratz) Funk, he married Sue Johnson on June 5, 1999, at Des Moines.

She survives along with son Larry Funk of rural Hillsboro; daughters Sandy Eten of Boca Raton, Florida, and Sheryl Deaver of Villages, Florida; brother Chester Funk of Reedley, California; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Mennonite Central Committee.
