Criminal damage

Paige R. Barnes, Peabody, reported that $180 in damage was done between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Sept. 25 to a tire at her apartment in the 200 block of N. Walnut St. in Peabody.

MARION

Theft, serial theft

A two-pack of power tool batteries valued at $229 was reported stolen between 3:10 and 3:13 p.m. Sept. 23 from Marion Ace Hardware.

Police suspect that the same duo accused of three shopliftings in Hillsboro and more in Eureka may have been responsible.
